Chennai born 33 years old Sathya is a dependable top order right handed wicket keeper batsman. As a keeper acrobatic dives and stunning catches may not be his forte but he is recognized in Swiss cricket as a safe keeper, but more than his keeping it is his batting that he is well known for in Swiss cricket, as he has puts a very high price on his wicket. He could attack or defend with equal skill as the position of the match demands, a skill which enabled him to almost carry his bat in the 2012 trip to Austria where he top scored against the Austrian National side as he stood his ground when wickets kept on tumbling at the other end . He is a genuine all rounder. Having played for Bern Cricket Club where he was named by the club as player of the year for two consecutive year (2009-2010) he has moved to Cossonay cricket club in 2012 ( player of the year 2012). He has represented the Swiss National team in the David Barmes memorial trophy, Amsterdam Tour, Lamanga Tour (Spain) and England Tour.
