Note:
- Clubs are obliged to play all their home games at their designated home venue. If the grounds become unavailable due to extenuating circumstances, league committee and the opponent team must be informed of the same and evidence provided. Failure to provide valid justification, will result in a forfeit in favour of the away team. Extenuating circumstance exception will only be provided for a maximum of 50% of games in any season upon providing valid justification. Under any circumstances, a team cannot play less than 50% of their allocated home games at their designated home venue (2 matches in this case) during the course of the season. Failure to do so will result in a 10 point penalty per game (maximum of 20 point penalty in a season) and a forfeit in favour of the opponent team.
- If there is an agreement under extenuating circumstance rule to play the home game away, all compensation claims for the ground expenses should be discussed and agreed upon upfront.
- Both Saturdays and Sundays are considered as match days based on the availability of the home ground for the hosts.
- Lunch arrangements are not mandatory. If no lunch is provided, please inform the opponent team and umpires in advance so that necessary arrangements can be made.
- Starting 2023, no official CSNL game can be played without neutral match officials. All match official names must be captured on CricHQ by the official scorers.
- It is mandatory for all teams to wear coloured kits for all CSNL games, as the matches are played with white coloured balls (5 points for kit transgression). For CSNL clubs that have been provided with CS approved kits, it is mandatory to use them in all the official games. For the clubs who are yet to receive the CS approved kits, they can use their current kits until they are in possession of CS approved kits. CS approved kit distribution is expected to continue over the next few years.
