The 2021 Zuoz Festival of Junior Cricket will take place over the weekend of 12 & 13 June 2021.

Junior cricket festival in Zuoz GR attracts 250+ youths each year and is the largest tournament in Switzerland

The festival, hosted by the Lyceum Alpinum and organised by Zurich Crickets, has been running for 16 years and will feature U9, U11, U13 and U15 tournaments all running in parallel.

Junior teams from all over the country are participating and nearly 150 juniors will be taking part.

There will also be an exhibition match featuring a girl's team from the school.

A barbecue lunch will be served on both days.

About cricket at the Lyceum Alpinum

LAZ

Cricket has been played at the Lyceum for over ninety years and the school pitches, at almost 1800m above sea level, are thought to be the highest in Europe. The air is thinner (only 80% of the oxygen compared to sea level) and the UV is intense - so sun cream, hats, sun glasses and a cricket jumper are all a must!
