On Sunday 19th April the Cricket Switzerland Executive met via eConferencing facilities. This is the first time the executive has used eConferencing technology to meet.
"The online meeting was necessary to meet our constitutional obligations and importantly to respect the social-distancing directives currently in place", said Alexander Mackay, President.
Not surprisingly the main focus for the meeting was the affects of the current situation and the exit-strategy being discussed rolled out over the next few months.
Along with many other sports, cricket has to deliver assurances that can be put into place in order to protect its members and the general public, before the sport will be permitted to resume training and eventually begin to play matches.
A further meeting has been schedule in a month.
