Season start hampered by cold & wet

The start of the Swiss Mr Pickwick T20 League & Cricket Switzerland Premier League is being hampered by the current cold & wet weather conditions.

The season began with the David Barmes Memorial Trophy being called off for the first time since it became a regular season opener back in 2011.
This weekend Saturday's PT20 between Zurich Crickets & Zug Cricket Club has already been called off,
while the three PT20 matches in the west of the country on Sunday, although not in doubt, are likely to be rain affected.

Not unlike the two CSPL games in the east this Sunday. For those matches the local weather forecast is for more rain and temperatures barely above freezing (4°-6°C). Not an ideal start to the season.

Before travelling to any game this weekend keep an eye on the Cricket Switzerland website & refer to the home club for specific details.
