Four nations have confirmed their participation in the Central European Development League Twenty20 Cup in Warsaw, Poland.
Poland (hosts), Switzerland, Hungary & Ukraine will compete in this year's tournament at the Warsaw Cricket Ground at Stare Babice from Thursday 12th to Sunday 15th July 2018.
The Swiss go into this tournament on the back of their recent success in the Central European ODI Touranment in Prague, but tournament favourites remain the hosts. The combination of home soil and their strongest possible team will make them a very difficult team to beat.
Hungary, who incidentally beat Switzerland in this tournament in 2017, will also prove to be strong contestants.
In an exclusive with the Swiss coach/manager, Chris Lodge says, "With a number of changes from the ODI tour squad in June due to players having to balance their family, work and cricket
commitments, it is a much changed squad that travels to Poland.
This though, does provide a number of players who were unavailable or not seleted for Prague with a chance to make their mark against equally strong opposition, in what is always a strongly
contested tournament".
