Cricket Switzerland's 2017 Annual General Meeting took place in Berne at Restaurant Egghölzli on Saturday 18th February 2017.
At the beginning of proceedings Yeti Sinh was presented a Services to Cricket Award by the President for his hard work & dedication during the time he spent on the Committee as Cricket Switzerland's Youth Development Officer.
Back to business of the day, the General Meeting proceeded to accept the officers reports, that had also been made available prior to the meeting to club representatives via email and had been placed on the website.
The treasurer's report was presented to the meeting and, pending the external auditor's report, was also accepted unanimously by the meeting.
All members of the previous year's eecutuve committee were unanimously re-elected by the General Meeting, along with newly elected Sathya Nanayanan who takes up the newly created Publicity Manager role.
Additionally, Zurich Lions & Rhône Cricket Club of Lyon in France were accepted as affiliates members of the association, while Geneva were elevated to Associate status.
After the AGM, Barend van Brakel gave a presentation on Action Cricket.
Changes to player registration were adopted to allow the loaning of players and thus enabling the creation of additional teams for the Swiss Mr Pickwick Twenty20 competition.
Finals dates and venues for both competitions were decided and have been publicised on the website.
Schedules for senior and junior national teams were also announced.
