Switzerland start the year at the top of T20 International's Continental European Development Cricket League's ODI leader board.
Following Cricket Switzerland's success in tournaments in Prague in 2014 and Warsaw in 2015, Switzerland are currently ranked 1st in the T20 International ODI
standings and 9th in the T20 International Twenty20 rankings.
With tournaments in Warsaw, Prague, Valetta and Sophia, all under consideration for 2016, Cricket Switzerland's international match manager, Chris Lodge, is confident that Switzerland's ODI
position can be maintained and the Twenty20 ranking improved.
In 2014 T20 international launched the European Development Cricket League, for nations excluded from formal ICC competitions.
The aim of this league is to help provide a structure to national level cricket in Europe. Only the last 4 matches between two teams count towards the league table, but previous encounters appear
in the archive.
From 2015 separate international weekends are reserved to help countries organise their cross-border international tournaments and festivals.
Details of the T20 International European Development Cricket League are available on the T20
International website.
