Level One Coaches Course

In order to ensure the further develop of the cricketing skills of our junior players and add to their enjoyment in learning to play better cricket, Gingins Cricket Club will host a Level One Coaches Course from 8th-10 April 2016 for anyone interested in becoming a coach, or assisting the coaches.

Beginning on Friday 8th April at approx. 5pm with a theoretical classroom session, Richard Skyrme, a very experienced ECB coach, arrives from England to deliver the course. Richard has been to Switzerland previously, and we are pleased to welcome him again.

The course is scheduled continue for most of the day on Saturday 9th April and finishes on the afternoon of Sunday 10th April.

Cost & registration

The course will be held at the Auberge in Gingins (Friday) and in the sports hall at the ESEP school in Borex/Crassier (Saturday & Sunday). Cost is Fr. 100 per participant, but places are limited, so anybody interested should email Arnold Bucheli at their earliest convenience to reserve their place.

Final details will be provided to participants once their participation is confirmed.

About the Level One Coaches Course

The CCAS Level One Coaches Course follows the ECB (English Cricket Board) Level One course , i.e. the first level. It is designed to teach the skills of coaching cricket to children to make it both productive and enjoyable. It is suitable for parents and for young adults.
