Geneva XI Stars celebrate independence days of Pakistan & India

Sunday 14th August 2016 at Onex

For the 12th year running Geneva XI Stars Cricket Club will celebrate the independent days of Pakistan and India by holding an Independence Cup T20 Cricket match at Onex between Pakistan and Indian Cricket teams comprising of Swiss based talented cricketers from the sub-continent.


The game will be played in national colors of both countries and is expected to be attended by a large number of expats from the sub-continent in particular and cricket loving fraternity in general (families and children are encouraged to come).

Geneva XI Stars Cricket club takes pride in its social responsibilities by not only organizing such sporting activities but it also encourages and organizes cricket practice for people with disabilities and also help promote their participation in other activities. We will hold a special coaching session of Cricket for people with special needs and children on this day as well.

All are encouraged to come visit us on Sunday the 14th of August at 12 noon at Onex to motivate the organizers and also see a fiercely contested Cricket match between the Indian and Pakistani players.
