Warsaw Hussars Cricket Club

Inaugural CEE native 6s Cricket Cup

The key mission of Warsaw Hussars Cricket Club is to promote the game of cricket in Poland so that complete newcomers are being systematically introduced to the sport.

As the next step we would like to broaden our horizons and invite all native players from Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) to an inaugural Native 6s Cricket Cup in Warsaw, which is scheduled for 25th-26th July 2015 (Saturday-Sunday).

The idea behind the event is simple: to give all players who have learned the game of cricket in their native CEE countries an opportunity to play against each other. This would ensure a level playing field for all involved. It would also be a perfect opportunity to compare notes and learn from each other.

The format of the game would be 10 overs and each team must consist of six native players from a given CEE country. Please note that each team needs to register a named squad. Depending on time and number of teams there might also be an opportunity for teams to combine squads to play 11 a side after the actual tournament.

The registration fee is 300 Euro per team. This is primarily mandated by the ground fees and umpiring costs.

We are proud to work in association with T20International, who are very much involved in promoting the game of cricket in our region.

Let's make history together!
