The British Residents' Association of Switzerland cordially invites members of the cricketing fraternity to join them in celebrating Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth’s official birthday on
Wednesday 17th June, 2015, 6pm to 8pm, at the Restaurant Belvoir Park, Seestrasse 125, 8002 Zurich.
It is a tradition of the British Residents’ Association of Switzerland to honour Her Majesty by celebrating her official birthday in the different regions during the month of June. This is a happy occasion which brings together not just BRA members, but others from different Associations in the Region (Cricket Switzerland being one), as well as the City of Zurich Council and the Zurich Intergration Office. The British Residents' Association of Switzerland also link up with the British Swiss Chamber of Commerce and the Royal Overseas League and in the past have welcomed members of the Zurich Consular Corps.
A representative of the British Embassy in Berne has also been invited and to give Her Majesty’s Loyal Toast.
The Restaurant Belvoir Park is over one hundred years old and is one of Zurich’s elegant and historical villas. It is set in beautiful gardens and weather permitting we will gather there, or under the Terrace awning. You will be greeted by a bagpipe player in full regalia. The Belvoir Park is also used as a hotel school for training international hospitality staff and you might like to finish off the evening by staying on for dinner.
The Belvoir Park is about 8-10 minutes walking distance from Bhf Enge (Enge railway station), or take Tram 7 to the Museum Rietberg or Brunaustrasse stops.
The Belvoir offers some disabled parking only, so allow time to find a spot in one of the nearby streets.
A charge of CHF 40.- for non members, CHF 30.- for BRA members, payable at the door covers drinks and a variety of delicious snacks specially created for us by the Hotel Senior Management Class.
Register by Wednesday 10th June by downloading, completing and returning the registration form below or for further details contact Joanna Koch.
The Zurich, Zug and Lucerne Regions of the British Residents’ Association look forward to welcoming you to this happy event.
