Cossonay CC (222/7 in 40 overs) defeated Swiss Colts (167/10 in 37.1 overs) by 55 runs.
Cossonay CC won their first CSPL game comfortably against Swiss Colts.
On a warm day, Cossonay CC skippen Yeti Sinh won the toss and opted to bat first. With the help of a stylish 80 from Arjun and a well made 47 from Saurabh, Cossonay CC managed to score
222-7 at the end of their allotted overs. Batting second Colts could not build any substantial partnership and were all out for 167 giving Cossonay a well-earned 55 run victory.
Olten CC (163/10 in 36.5 overs) defeated Winterthur CC (114/10 in 33.4 overs) by 49 runs.
Olten once again registered another comfortable victory in the CSPL eastern division at Deutweg. Batting first after winning the toss Olten CC were put under pressure by Winterthur bowlers right
from the word go and they could only muster 163 before being bowled out. Olten came out strongly after lunch and it was soon clear why they are considered to have one of the best bowling attacks
in the country.
Winterthur CC could only manage 114 before being bowled and handed Olten CC a victory margin of 55 runs.
Olten CC now lead the eastern division and their next CSPL game is scheduled against St. Gallen in two weeks time on the 14th June.
