This weekend the Cricket Coaches Association of Switzerland (CCAS) are running two identical Cricket Coaching Workshops, on Saturday at the Kantonschule Hottingen in Zurich & on
Sunday at the La Châtaigneraie School Sports Hall.
Thirty participants have registered for the two workshops and will learn coaching skills from Hampshire coaches John Cook and Chris Wheeler and ably supported by CCAS President Chris Lodge.
Primarily aimed at those who have either already done the Level 1 ECB coaching course or who have experience of coaching, this workshop is designed to help Swiss coaches improve the batting & bowling skills of their players, and aims to provide a course tailored to our needs as coaches and to help us improve the standard of Swiss cricket players. Patrick Henderson, who has worked with both Hampshire coaches in the past said, "We will be looking at batting and bowling technique, picking up on errors and things that could lead to injury".
