Winterthur Cricket Club elected Prafull Shikare as the new captain at the club's 32nd Annual General Meeting held in Winterthur on Wednesday 12th March.
In front of a record AGM attendance, John Hallam (President) was re-elected for his third term. Also re-elecetd were Alex Mackay (vice President), Urs Stuker (Secretary) & Matt Allen (Committee member).
In a reshuffle of the remaining positions on the club's executive, Jiten Patel (Treasurer) replaced the outgoing Vinay Kalia, Chris Lodge (Committee member) replaced Vinay Patel & Raj Singh (Social Secretary) replaced Ray Goddard.
Additionally Andy Wilson was re-elected as club auditor, along with Phil Martin, replacing John Draper who had held that position for over 20 years.
The meeting also voted to keep passive & membership fees unchanged, despite continued investment in the NottsSport pitch.
Winterthur have a busy season of fixtures lined up for the 2014 season, including matches & tours to neighbouring Italy, Germany & France, participation in the domestic 40 over league & Pickwick Twenty20 competition, plus the Zuoz Festival & SwissT20.
