The 9th Swiss Junior Cricket Festival will take place in Zuoz from Friday 30th May through to Sunday 1st June 2014.
The Swiss Junior Cricket Festival is organised by the Cricket Switzerland Junior Development Programme together with the Lyceum Alpinum, and is the annual showcase for Junior & Youth Cricket in Switzerland.
Played at the Lyceum Alpinum cricket facilities in the beautiful Engadine region, 20 youth teams from all over Switzerland compete over 3 days in 8-a-side, 18-over matches, at under 11, under 13 and under 15 levels, playing at almost 1,800m and surrounded by snow-capped mountains.
In addition to the cricket, DiscountSports, the online sports shop and the only domestic supplier of cricket equipment in Switzerland, will also be on hand.
DiscountSports have also managed to get autograph bats signed by Joe Root, Graeme Swann & Alex Hales (all of whom are kitted out by GM), and these will be up for grabs over the weekend
with all proceeds going to charity.
