The Swiss Cricket Association (SCA) elected its 2013 Executive Committee at the 35th Annual General Meeting held on Saturday 26th January 2013 in Berne, Switzerland.
 

Mr. Alexander Mackay was re-elected as President and leads a highly motivated and highly qualified team: Incumbents Mr. David Milne (Vice-President), Mr. Ken. McKeown (Honorary Secretary), Mr. Abraham Koshy (Competitions’ Chairman), Mr. Pradeep Vijayadas (Sponsorship and Publicity Coordinator) and Mr. Aswin Lakkaraju (International Match Manager)  were all re-elected while Mr. Clive W. Denney (Honorary Treasurer) replaces the outgoing Mr. Nitesh Gandhi and Mr. John Millar (Youth Development Officer) replaces Dr. Patrick Henderson after eight years in this role.

The Association also warmly welcomed Gingins CC, Basel Dragons CC, Geneva International CC and the Swiss Federation Of Cricket Umpires & Scorers as associate members, demonstrating that the SCA is flourishing, and the accomplishments in 2012 will, without doubt, continue in 2013.

 

After thanking Mr. Gandhi and Dr. Henderson for their significant efforts over the years, Mr. Mackay welcomed Mr. Clive W. Denney and Mr. John Millar, adding “the Executive will continue to focus on cricket and to strengthen the foundations in order for us to continue be the premier cricketing body in Switzerland.
Building on the foundations established thirty-five years ago, which have been  strengthened in the past few years, and by expanding our reach within Switzerland and further developing our capabilities, we will continue to manage a healthy & progressive Association, playing, developing and promoting the game within Switzerland. We will also continue to work towards re-establishing Swiss cricket on the international cricket scene".
