We take this opportunity to thank all our website visitors for thier interest in Swiss cricket over the last 12 months and wish them & their families a very merry festive season and a great start to the new year.


We have enjoyed keeping you all up to date on the cricket activities in Switzerland in 2011 and we look forward to continuing to do so in 2012. highlights 2011

In addition to bringing you all the results of the domestic league, cup & tournaments we covered the league, Pickwick cup and T20 finals. also brought you over fifty articles on cricketing or cricketing related activities in Switzerland and the world.

Who can forget India being crowned as Cricket World Champions and Alex Mackay's interview with the Tages Anzieger.

A bit close to home we covered stories of the Zuoz Cricket Festival senior and junior tournaments, of Swiss Cricket's development activities, such as the junior cricket camps, demonstrations of cricket to the indigeneous Swiss population in Andelfinen, Olten and the Swiss Olympic atheletes.

We covered stories of Swiss international tours to Cambridgeshire, Denmark and La Manga, officials' and coaching courses and took particular pleasure in announcing the creation of Basel Dragons Junior Cricket Club.

In 2011 received an average of 3'500 hits per month, the majority of which were to the News page, but a considerable number of website hits went to the league and youth development pages.  

Switzerland isn't cricket-free during the winter months!

There is indoor cricket taking place across Switzerland on a regular basis and we expect to bring you some news early in the new year of indoor tournaments and practice sessions in Zurich, Basel, Luzern, Lausanne & Geneva.

In early February we will report on the Swiss Cricket Association's AGM and we we will bring you reports & photos of the 2012 Cricket On Ice competition from St. Moritz (18.-20. February 2012).
