Freiburg Nomads Cricket Club (FNCC) is a small cricket club based in the capital city of Black Forest, Freiburg, Germany. It was started by English expats in the mid 1980s for the very purpose of recreation. Since then the club has come a long way from being just a social club. Now the FNCC is renowned for its friendly, fair and competitive cricket in and around the region. In the spring of 2016, FNCC became an affiliated member of the Cricket Switzerland, and playing its trade in the East Division of the Cricket Switzerland League.

Being the only German member of the Cricket Switzerland, FNCC takes immense pride in shouldering the responsibility of representing Germany in Switzerland. Everyone is welcome to the surreal and beautiful home ground of FNCC, located next to the Seepark in Freiburg, to join, discuss and enjoy cricket with the rest of its members.

The team has its practice every Friday from 5pm onwards and plays matches on Sundays.

They are always looking for new players, experienced or otherwise. Even if you are just curious to know about those people in white uniform on a green field, come along. Freiburg would be happy to explain you what is cricket & why it is cricket.
